Lily Allen - Fear

the aspect of address for thos video is direct as she is singing to the camera. the narrative to the video if linear as she is walking through the house step by step and there is no flash back or cuts to different times.

the video is designed to make the singer, lily allen, look fun, cheerful, outragous, she isnt fake and that her life is fantastic.

the video is designed to amplify the lyrics of the song.

the mise en scene to this video is that it is very colourful and lots of expensive things. everything different colours, this could be seen as being fake. so therefore the video is completely oppersite to the actual persons image.

camera angles used are tracking shots, above shots and mid shots of her singing.

the target audience for this song is 12 - 23 year olds and is seen as being a pop song.

Chemical Brothers - hey girls hey boys

the chemical brother hey girls hey boys has an indirect of address to the video. the video is following her grow up from when she is young to shen she is older therefore it is a linear narrative.

the video gives the band a clean look as at the club non of them are drinking alcohol or taking drugs. therefore they are breaking usaul convention of other similar genres, as they tend to make out that they are hardcore raving bands.

the video its self is disfunctional as the video has nothing to do with the song. as the song doesnt really have many lyrics to it i feel that this is the reason for it not being either an amplification or illustration.

they use skelton through out the video so there for this is part of the mise en scene.

throughout the video they use camera angles such as eye line shot, mid shots, tracking and match on action. they only really use simple edits such as cuts.

through out the majority of the video they use skeletons, these are scene as being special effects.

finally the target audience for this video is 15- 23 year olds as they are more likely to go to clubs and listen to dance music.
